In the first years, the cake house on the Kraanlei grew into the place for artisan cakes and colorful cupcakes. Julie's House flourished and grew. The second branch opened its doors in the form of an easily accessible shop at Koningin Elisabethlaan 26 in Ghent. At this takeaway shop you pop in to pick up delicious pastries so you can enjoy them at home. Over the years, the name Julie's House became a household name and catering establishments also came knocking with curiosity. The cakes found their way to numerous coffee houses in Flanders and Brussels, where they feature on the dessert menu.

After 10 years of growth and baking, the kitchen in the original building became too small. Since 2018, the beating heart of Julie's House has been located in the Eskimofabriek, on Wiedauwkaai in Ghent. The delicious treats that you find in the stores are made in the spacious studio with the sweet motto: 'baked with love, served with joy'. What's even more fun? Julie's cake vending machine where you can indulge 24/7.
