Initially, the small cake house on Kraanlei became the go-to place for artisanal cakes and colorful cupcakes. Julie’s House quickly thrived, leading to the opening of a second location on Koningin Elisabethlaan 26 in Ghent. This akeout shop allows you to pick up delicious cakes and enjoy them at home.
Over the years, the name Julie’s House has become well-known, attracting the attention of various dining establishments. The cakes have thus made their way into numerous cafes in Flanders and Brussels, appearing on their dessert menus.
After 10 years of growth and baking, the kitchen in the original building became too small. Since 2018, the beating heart of Julie's House has been located in the Eskimofabriek, on Wiedauwkaai in Ghent. The delicious treats that you find in the stores are made in the spacious studio with the sweet motto: 'baked with love, served with joy'. What's even more fun? Julie's cake vending machine where you can indulge 24/7.
